New members from Townsville
« on: May 04, 2011, 11:15:53 AM »
Hi All,

Found My Swag a few weeks ago whilst looking for trailer builds, great site with lots of useful information.
I'm only new to the camper trailer way of life; I and wife Janice hired a camper trailer last year from a local CT hire place here in Townsville and completed a trip to the cape last July / August. Had a great time but had a few places I missed due to my tow car. I have a Subaru Outback 2002 H6 Automatic. Some water crossings being my only problem.

Any way we have regrouped and licked our wounds and recently purchased a 1995 OKA 4x4 and building a slide-on camper for the back.

Planning a fishing and camping trip into Lake Field National park later this year.

Chris.

G'day Chris and welcome, those water crossings must have given you a fright, from a Subaru to a OKA, now that's trading UP
