Trailer is finished. SWMBO helped me bleed the brakes. Welded the floor in. Now just to take it to the car wash and give the new floor a bit of a clean. Suppose I'll have to do some "real work" around the house now....

Looks like I jumped the gun on the "I'm finished" statement, looks like some of my dodgy soldering might have come away as one of the tail lights isn't working properly. So I'll have to fix that and see what I can do. Better fix it coz you know what those coppers are like!  ;D ;D ;D

This is the results of a lot of shed time.

The exhibition is in Cobb & Co museum Toowoomba.

Need to get back to the more important issues such as fixing the leak in the ct water tank an getting out again.

Put a new battery in my rideon mower, that was 5mm to big so had to do some cutting of the bottom bracket and rebending of the top bracket. hat a pain..

also fitted a new blade, yes only one, thought there was no point replacing the blade that was still serviceable..

Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"

Got rid of the pain in the proverbial hand pump on the side of the CT and replaced it with a tap that runs off the water pump!! Allows for the tap in the kitchen to be fed from mains water if required.

Anyone want a hand pump?? Leaks for free ............... Good deal!

Thanks Cruisindub.

It is a large carved horse using the Anthony Dew plan.

Each year the museum holds a challenge for local artists & as I work at the museum I thought I had better support the event. The other guy who is in the workshop entered a squatters chair in the form of a wheel barrow with 2 wheels.

The items have to be offered for sale.

Seeing its a nice day and all, and i cant go camping yet....

I cleaned out the water tank after i found the old hoses to have some white powder on them? not sure if it was calcium or not so just chucked them.

Cleaned out fully and put brand new hoses on, also go myself a new drinking water hose for filling up.

Next up packing the camper up for our next trip either this weekend or next :D

did some work on the shed itself today...painted the front gable weatherboards and then installed the gable flashings aswell. after that i finished the ridge capping off so the shed is finally 100% water tight  8) 8) just need to finish paining it now and run some power and water to it.

I was given a new tool box for fathers day, I have now started to fit some of my tools into it. The lid looked like wasted space so I have fitted my loose socket sets into it, and racked the metric half of my minimax spanner sets.

Clean sheds and clean toolboxes can get dirty sometimes!
I'm refitting the 12v system into the aluminium toolbox I got for Father's Day.

Once that's done ill have to vacuum and steam mop the garage!

Better not let anyone see my workshop... these toolboxes are too organised for me!!
Don't complain! It could be worse, you could be six foot under or a brick of ashes!!

My tools get a pretty good work over, I just like to know where they are, I have always had them racked up on the walls, but this tool bow should keep them better.
D4D I used this sort of socket rail,
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kincrome-Socket-Rail-3-8-Drive-17-Clip-K2074-/390491036236?pt=AU_Hand_Tools&hash=item5aeb145a4c

I brought some Kingcrome, but found the new socket holders that supercheap are even better, in my opinion, as the frame is made of aluminium, not plastic.

Just to show my tools are not for show, I have started on a new engine for a Holden WB, 308, stroked to 355, block converted to 4 bolt mains, also the roller cam fitted.

Nearly had a dummy spit trying to put one of those elastic cargo nets over all the gear in the ute tray ready for the Fraser trip. How DO those hooks manage to get soooooo caught up on everything that you don't want them to. Does anyone else have this problem or does my net just hate me?????

I must report this to the garage police. Apart from first looking at my garage before moving in I have never had one that clean. You could eat of the floor in yours.
