A "camper" for the big family with even bigger pockets

How does a large family explore Australia without sacrificing the comforts of home? In this $2 million mansion on wheels, that’s how.

An Australian family has commissioned a company to build this two-storey customised camper van that is large enough to accommodate both parents and six kids on an off-road adventure across the country.

I have been told they'll do the lap and put it straight on the market. I was camping with an SLRV owner recently - they are impressive things. Good luck to them. People actually spending their money is what this economy needs, not moronic governments taking it in tax.

I've got no issues with people spending the coin if they have it, I am struggling to see how it cost $2mil though.
I imagine being a fairly bespoke product they will likely be waiting a while for a sale or lose quite a bit in order to offload it.
If I owned it, after doing the lap here I would put it on a ship ready for whatever continent I wanted to do next.

If you look in the pic of the white one above, you’ll see the gold one in the pic on the TV - ‘only $800k worth’. It was parked next to the white one at sanctuary cove if anybody was there. The owners of that are who I camped with, and you couldn’t be more wrong about ‘those types’, I assure you.

It is a motor home specific chassis build with a ludicrous amount of flex.
