What is a decent trailer top canvas
« on: November 18, 2014, 12:06:05 PM »
So many companies state that there trailer tops are the ant's pants, So how is canvas graded from excellent to $hit. I'm in the process of adding a tent top to the trailer and none the wiser. for Eg: 440 gsm  15 oz plain canvas - 65% poly 35% cotton How does this rate. cheers Ron.

Although the quality or weight of the canvas can be super important, I would suggest that how it is stitched together is just as important,
There isn't any point having the best canvas on the market if it was stitched together horribly.
My recommendation is to have a look and feel of the tents you are considering and make your decision based on a combination of everything.
