Beefy's Pies at the Ettamogah Pub complex on the Bruce Hwy QLD.

Oh how i could go a good pie from there! They were our treat on the way back from Brisbane (which was only about once or twice a year).

Haven't found one that even gets close here in WA.

Meh...all of these places mentioned are but pale and certainly no where near the awesomeness that is the Wee Waa Bakery and the best chicken pie ever! Along with the awesome "Rescue Pie", a pie of that consisted of slow cooked beef in an Italian style sauce with tomato, garlic and red wine and a mashed sweet potato topping with a parmesan cheese garnish...

Also, a kind of distant second would be Oatley Village Pies and if you haven't had their beef burgandy or even their mango chicken pie, then you have definitely not got any idea about pies.

My husband was a founding member of the Piesmiths Guild. They would rate their pies out of a score of 10 and took their pie ratings very seriously. Don't google them...you won't find them on the internet... ;D
