It had power but wasn't on, tripped the safety switch. Insurance job I would think.

Real easy, build up the side closest to the drop off and then block the drains.
Works every time.

Hi,
Kids used to do that in Malaysia. Block the drain with paper, flood the road, and charge $$$$ to push cars through.
Cheers

I used to do something similar when I was a kid. On the way to school, at every phone box you tear out a page from the yellow pages and stuff it right up the coin return chute. Then on the way home, fish it out with a bit of wire to collect the 10c pieces.

Usually ended up with enough for some hot chips and a game or two on the pinnies  ;D

Been power out, lotsa noise, lightening, and heavy rain for the last half hour.
Up near Donna Buang.

I hope D4D cleaned out his drains since the flood.

Mayday!

Quote
The hottest day in 12 months is forecast for this Saturday, with temperatures expected to rise to a sweltering 41 degrees across Melbourne.

The surprise scorcher will follow a week of pleasant weather in the mid 20s and cool southerly breezes.
